Mike and Jeanette were brilliant hosts, they were there when you needed them otherwise you would not know they were there. We would have no hesitation in booking again. In fact we tried for when we returned to the area after a couple of weeks away and we could not - they were fully booked!

The large deck overlooking the water was a big bonus, as were the flocks of sulphuric crested cockatoos and lorikeets overhead. The hosts, Denise and Peter, could not have been lovelier or more helpful. Denise went to a lot of trouble finding us a restaurant that was open on Monday and Peter, bless him, drove us there and picked us up later. Peter cooked a delicious breakfast to order which we enjoyed overlooking the water and gum trees. Blue Gum Cottage and its hosts are exceptional. Thank you Denise and Peter!
