In the middle of the jungle, just a 1 minute walk down to the river, very spacious room and comfortable bed. The staff was above and beyond. Travis at the reception is such a knowledgeable, friendly, caring and funny guy. He gave us all the information we needed to make our stay unforgettable. He’s one of a kind and we are truly happy that we’ve met him and stayed at the Mayan garden. Make sure to do the Lamanai river boat trip to the Mayan temples. The breakfast is also super delicious and John makes the best juices from scratch. Super friendly guy and great options for vegetarians. We can highly recommend staying at the Mayan garden. Thanks for everything!

A small (maximum 10 people) hostel very close to the bus terminal and downtown. Ricky is a friendly and obliging host, and can arrange local tours snd onward travel for you,5 The relaxed ambience at the hostel means it's easy to get to know other guests and share information. Even though the buildings are a little old and rough-around-the-edges, everything you need is there and functions well... just don't expect luxury and glamour. We enjoyed our 10 stay.

Greg hostel, free towel and free amenities to use for kitchen, not so crowded and quiet property at most of the time, the supermarket is very close by and alcohol is available to purchase on site.

Ricky and his two dogs are super nice. Ricky tries to give recommendations. Some are good. The house is kinda close to the City Center and to the Bus Terminal. I would suggest just doing the lamanai Tour. There is Not much Else to Do in Orange walk town.

I felt safe, Ricky is super helpful. the room was quiet, probably because only 2 of 4 beds were being used. The garden was pleasant and the dogs were adorable!
