Wonderful stay at sun creek - we wanted something simple in the jungle and this place was better than expected. The whole garden was beautiful and the rooms great. Loved the outside bathroom! We were there in august and worried a little about the heat as there is no AC but with the standing fan it was just fine. I'd seen reviews talking about dog and traffic noise, but we weren't disturbed by anything and slept well. It's a hut in the jungle so yes there were some bugs but that's normal. We fell asleep watching a gecko scuttle across the ceiling eating mosquitos and moths, comfy under the mosquito net. The couple who run the hotel are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Would come back if we're ever in the area again!

Very nice location, a short walk from the ferry terminal and everything else. We were greeted by Theresa and she let us put our bags in the apartment early so that we could walk around and explore. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Sherlett, the owner. Sherlett was communicative, welcoming, and helpful. It was so nice to have a whole apartment with a kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning and a TV with multiple platforms - cuz we needed to Netflix and chill for a night after lots of traveling!
