Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch. Would definitely stay there again.

The host was very kind and friendly & the room & other common spaces were nice & relaxing! I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and chatting to other guests. It was close to Inverness & very peaceful.

We were in Room 7 and we loved all of the little touches that just go the extra mile even down to the charging docks for multiple devices, excellent in room coffee and complementary snacks. The room was beautifully appointed and we loved that there was laundry facility available.

An American breakfast is available at the inn. My wife, mother and I got the double bed room. It looked out onto the ocean so we watched a beautiful sunset from the room. The room was recently renovated, very clean, and had little thoughtful touches like earplugs (we didn't need them) and milk and cream for coffee (that was also available in the room). Breakfast was pretty standard, but it was served quickly and promptly at 7:30.

We were in the Loft Studio - it had been recently renovated with pine walls and floor - clean and lovely - lots of amenities, with a small kitchen area/sink. We were there only one night but would recommend 2 nights just to relax and explore the area. We went to a Caleigh in Baddeck in the evening (it was amazing!) and left the next morning to hike a bit on the Cabot Trail and continue over to the West side, stopping first for breakfast at the Clucking Hen Bakery and Cafe on the way (yummy breakfast and we bought pastries for on the road), just a minute or two from Rumi House. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets, and it was quiet, with only a car once in a while on the nearby road, which was cushioned by trees. Owner was quick to respond to messages and answered all of our questions before we arrived.
