It was a perfect stay. The breakfast was fabulous and the bed was very comfy. The owners are at another level of taking care for their guests and their place. I felt very welcome with all the small details from power plug adapter to city map with audioguide and small fridge with items at the supermarket price. No doubts would come here again.

Fred is amazing host. He gave us a present at the beginning of the stay. The appartment was clean and in perfect location close to the centre of Colmar.

Sigrid was the star. Nothing was too much trouble. She was the perfect host. Her house was welcoming and homely in a lovely location and the local restaurant bar was very nice.

If I only had one word to describe Chez Jean and Daisy, it would be: Magical. This bed and breakfast in a sleepy hamlet outside of Basel near the German border is nothing short of a treasure. At the door, the wise and wonderful Jean embraces you with a larger-than-life personality. Daisy, with her warmth and loveliness, becomes no stranger too. The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.
