The garden and especially the pristine clear river right next to the property are a highlight of. There is also an amazing waterfall good for swimming 20minute walk away. Food is also good and the staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful.

The hostel manager Victor was extremely helpful; he gave us advice numerous times about trips, tours, booked us a taxi, arranged packed lunches for when we wanted a day in Tayrona Park, etc. Nothing seemed like an inconvenience to him. He also allowed us to check in 90 mins early. Hostel was clean, rooms were a good size, had a lovely pool area (again good size) and was good value for money. Was 1km walk to the park which was helpful and had a handful of nice restaurants and cafes nearby (on the main road just outside). Would 100% use again and recommend to friends and family.

Kudos to Dario at the reception who made the checkin easy and gave a lot of info, goof food, reasonable prices, try the fruit bowl! You’ll see what i say after you order it, two jaccuzies, hot and cold, and a nice view to crash after long walk to Cabo Juan

Such kind staff, lovely spacious room with gorgeous views, very clean, nice big TV, really comfy bed, a shower head!!!!! (not often seen round this part of Colombia), the view and pool are gorgeous and location is fab - close to Tayrona, close to restaurants and little shops etc. They stored our bags for free the next day after checkout. Would stay again without a doubt

We really enjoyed our stay at Cristal Tayrona, especially the infinity pool, from which the views were breathtaking!

Posada Villa Margarita in Santa Marta, just 5 km from the Tayrona National Park, offers an on-site restaurant which features a free daily continental breakfast, a hammock-filled garden and free parking. Everything was perfect. It’s like living in a treehouse! Very close to the park, 2 minutes walk from a gorgeous beach. Andres and Mila and all of the staff were perfect. We were very sad to leave.
