I stayed here for my last night before leaving Costa Rica and the hosts made me feel so at home! The place is really cozy and clean, it has enough space to move around and a beautiful veranda. Especially the hosts were very sweet and made sure I had everything I needed and more: they brought some coffee and fruits and had some helpful tips about where to eat. For a small fee I got an amazing breakfast and they took me to the airport- the perfect last night.

The family hosting us was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was great. Especially, the Gallo pinto :) we loved to sit in the pretty garden watching the birds for the breakfast. Closeby are many restaurants and a river where you can swing into the water using a rope. It's fun!

I loved the little touches. The pool with a view of the arenal. Netflix to watch when raining in the evening. Kitchenette area to make light meals.

Perfect spot if you need to be close to the airport, room is spacious with big bathroom and a hot shower. Super comfortable bed. Patricia was so nice to let me stay in the room after check out to wait for my time to go to the airport. They offer taxiservice for a good price. They have a cute little dog. Simple breakfast includen. Walking distance to the mall to kill some time. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the apartment a lot (felt like at home), the localization (near the center, with shops all around), and the neighborhood (friendly, helpful and super safe). Jonathan, the owner, was amazing. Great communication and always looking to make our trip easy and pleasant.

It was a really nice start and end stay of our Costa Rica trip. The apartment was really clean and located close to the airport. The host was really friendly and flexible. Moreover, she prepared a super delicious breakfast. We had a pleasant stay at Lajuela BnB. We will book it again if we ever come back to Costa Rica.

We stayed during the worst rain event in recent history so we were stuck in the room most of our trip and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had to change dates due to road outages and they were very helpful. They brought us warm muffins one day and were always asking how they could help. Even in the rain, the view was so pretty. Every time the rain let up, even if only for a few minutes, you could start to see the birds and butterflies and one very funny squirrel. The bed was comfortable and even with the dampness of the weather, there was no musty smell, which in CR is really something. The room was so clean and smelled so fresh. Now the highlight of our day was the breakfast! Different every day and fresh and really yummy! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Even the owner came out every morning to chat and ask how he could help with our day. I highly recommend this place and would love to return when it’s sunny!!! lol
