Sergio is a very enthousiastic and friendly guy. he will tell you all you want to know, and helps out with all types of questions, arrangements, trips and travels you want to undertake. the room itself is very clean and nicely decorated and the clean hot shower is big. since we stayed at the lower located rooms we had a nice little garden type of enclosure. Sergio litterally says: mi Casa Su casa. then last but certainly not least: the breakfast. every morning Sergio will make you a different egg, there is plenty of fruit choices and more then enough cheese, ham, cerial, milk, coffee, orangejuice, local jelly to feast the start of your day. every conversation with Sergio brought new stories as the man has seen a lot, if not all... the place is located above the city centre so a car is nice to have. We can highly recommend Sergio's casa to anyone.

The rooms were very cute, comfy and clean. The gardens surrounding the bungalows are so beautiful, with little sitting areas along the creek. There is a path leading from the restaurant about 500 meters into the jungle. We saw 60 or so monkeys there eating and playing in the trees just a few meters from us.

A continental breakfast is available at the bed and breakfast. Lily was an amazing host and makes you feel comfortable immediately. The place is really comfortable and makes you feel at home away from home. In the morning we had breakfast together and it felt like we were staying with family. Highly recommend staying here!

Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was unexpected but very generous and appreciated. Unfortunately we only stayed very briefly as it was a quick turnaround in our travel plans between locations (Drake Bay and Montezuma). The pool was enjoyed by all as a different pace to the salty ocean waves. I basked in the glorious AC for a night as a respite from the fans and humidity. Stephany was an absolute wonderful host. I wish we were able to stay for breakfast, but the early morning coffee was much appreciated. You can walk from Sierpe (we did with fully loaded backpacks!) but the short taxi ride from the boat launch may appreciated. Bring cash to pay for your stay! If I ever return to CR and am down this way I would definitely stay here again no question.

The pool area was a hit with my daughter and the lounge chairs were really cozy. Marcella and Sandro are lovely hosts, and made sure we were equipped with everything that we needed!

You are located in the heart of a farm family owned. The owner is Hermida, a lovely lady who is helped by the whole family, her grandson who speaks english came to welcome us. You have to take the breakfast and diner there, it is like being in Sra Hermida's kitchen. You eat fresh products from the farm. It is just a lovely location and they have so much to tell you about the place. We recommend 4x4 to explore Monteverde and to get to the house but the view is amazing from your lodge. Do not hesitate
