You have to walk a bit from the carpark but the payoff is that you are in the middle of the forest with no traffic sounds, only the singing of birds, the rustle of leaves and the gentle lapping of water against the dock. The rooms are very modern and elegant and the bed is so comfy that I slept very well, even from the first night, which almost never happens when I stay in a hotel. The hotel has kayaks for rent which I thoroughly recommend as we spent a beautiful 3 hours paddling around the town and then out along the Spree, which is a gorgeous section of the river. Will definitely be back.
