They are obsessive about cleaning, so the place is always perfectly spotless. It's very excellently priced, and they have a nice, large outdoor, ground-level terrace in the front with excellent rain covering even during the hardest storms. I work remotely, so I really look forward to a dedicated working area, which they have! They have a little office area in the back of the hostel with a desk, a nice background, and good lighting (for those of us that need to be on video calls).

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The property is 800 metres from Sucre Theatre, and within 1.4 km of the city centre. The place was very clean and they did recycling as well, the place got a nice terrace and the staff was the most helpful and nicest staff I have witnessed in my 5 months of traveling, highly recommend :)

It is situated 2 km from El Ejido Park and features a 24-hour front desk. The property is 300 metres from Sucre Theatre, and within 1.1 km of the city centre. The host, Maria was super attentive and helpful. The place was in a beautifully restored building with exceptionally comfortable accomodations. The location was perfect to see the old town with lots of restaurants close by.

All units come with a terrace with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne, fruits and chocolates or cookies. This beautiful Lodge is located right at the entrance to the quiloto loop. The hostess is warm and lovely and happy to chat. The dinner was fabulous! The bed comfortable and warm with many blankets. Great breakfast and pack lunch. There's a fireplace games and books as well as endless coffee tea and water. Plus good wifi. All that amazingness and you walk out the door in the morning and you're on the trail!

Set 1.2 km from El Ejido Park, Chakana Hotel Boutique Mariscal is a recently renovated 3-star accommodation in Quito, featuring a garden, a bar and private parking. The property has mountain and inner courtyard views, and is 3.2 km from La Carolina Park. The bed and breakfast features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Everything was great! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and artistically unique. The breakfast was tasty!

The bed and breakfast specialises in a continental and American breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. There is a coffee shop, and packed lunches are also available. We had an amazing stay at Ruta de los volcanes. The rooms were clean and with hot water. The location is perfect for the Cotopaxi National Park. Darwin was such a wonderful host. He helped us planning our hike in the park and even helped us with our planning for the next days in Ecuador. Even though one night we were the only guests, the fireplace was lit for us and we got the best meal we had eaten in weeks.

Very friendly people, clean and spacious room.

With mountain views, Hostal el Vaquero is set in Chugchilán and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. A steam room is available for guests, along with a fitness centre. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. I rarely give 10 points but this place deserves it! yes it can be chilly at night, yes it is in the middle of the countryside (so you need a car to reach it) but the kindness of the owners are exceptional! My son got altitude sickness and the owners did their best to cure him + they helped us finding accommodation in other part of Ecuador without hesitation (since our mobil didn't work here). The dinner and the breakfast are tasty, fresh homemade and plenty. The same applies to the breakfast. The garden of the house is beautiul and well maintained and there is a nice panorama over the canyon. Quilotoa lake is a short drive from here. The hotel has turkish bath and sauna but we didn't try them at the end. The wifi is strong. :)
