Within walking distance of the ancient city of Avallon, but also situated in the countryside, this B & B offered everything and we wished we could have stayed longer. Our studio accommodation afforded every comfort and breakfast was charmingly delivered in a basket and left outside the room at whatever time requested. The old farmhouse and gite had a wonderfully rustic feel, as martins and swallows flew in and out of the stables, and it was easy to see how families with children would love the ponies, swimming pool, and many other activities on offer. Very reasonably priced and a place to revisit.

Situated in the middle of the nature, the house offers a lot of space and comfort, it has a big garden and refreshing pool. A lot of facilities for children also. Breakfast was every day different, Christine made each morning a cake. Christine and Patrick have been very helpfull all the time with lots of advice for activities. They are the perfect hosts! We felt like home and we will come back!

Possibly the most welcoming and charming hosts we have experienced. They could not do enough for us including providing their own tablet so we could watch the Tour de France. The history of the building is fascinating and Gilles and Fabienne have renewed it with love and respect. The staircase is not for people with mobility issues but it is part of the history of the building. Gilles helps you up with the luggage and it is a great part of the experience which by the end of our stay was easy! Make sure to ask Gilles about booking restaurants in advance, he has the connections. Breakfast was amazing with so many options and locally made produce. Absolutely not your standard french coffee and croissant! We would thoroughly recommend staying here to experience a special part of Burgundy.

The hosts were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The inn is gorgeous and the art and furnishings are quite beautiful! They transformed a priory into an exquisite work of art. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We immediately felt at ease and relaxed upon our arrival, the decorations and furnitures are curated tastefully with an oriental touch, the tatami flooring in our bedroom gives off a relaxing and welcoming scent, the bed and linen are of high quality. Michael and Xiaolin were wonderful hosts who've both had solid experiences in the F&B industry, you can count on them for an extraordinary dine-in experience served with professionalism and attention to details. We felt that the service was personalised and it was one of our best dining experiences that will be remembered forever, thank you very much! :)

Very very cozy, beautiful and very nice staff. We highly recommend to have dinner there, it was very good french food experience. We and our kids loved a place a lot and we hope to come back!
