Great cosy guest house in Bourton on the water. Our room had everything we needed with wardrobe space, a table, nice beds, tv and a bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast was good and the staff is very nice. Located a few minutes walk from the river and the town centre.

The village is tiny and quiet and has some charming buildings. I learned from visiting the church nearby that the New Inn has historical Significance as a center of social and civic life.

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company! Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable.

The area, although seems secluded, is actually extremely nice for walking and discovering all the public footpaths, loads of friendly dogs and gorgeous gardens. Stable Lodge’s website had extremely useful recommendations for things to do and places to eat (I would recommend our picks - kibou Japanese restaurant per food and 270 climbing park, lower&upper slaughter per activity)

WE BOOKED THIS SO WE COULD GO TO THE FARMERS DOG PUB. IT WAS JUST DOWN THE ROAD. SADLY WE WERE THERE WHEN IT WAS REALLY TERRIBLE STORM BUT WE MADE IT, WE CAME BACK TO THE ROOM AS THE ROADS WERE SO BAD WIT TREES DOW. THE BOOKING CONSISTED OF A LOVELY SITTING ROOM A SMALL KITCHEN/LANDING AREA BEDROOM AND BATHROOM. WE WERE GREATED BY TE HOST WHEN WE ARRIVED AND THEY WERE REALLY FRIENDLY.
