They also had a bike shed which made us more relaxed about our bikes safety overnight - although the village was clearly not a high crime area

The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

Such a lovely little hidden gem of a place. We were in the area visiting friends and stayed 2 nights in a cosy family room as a family of 3. The room overlooked the beautiful gardens, beds were all comfy, plenty of tea & coffee etc provided in the room. Kate & Nathan were more than welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. We ate at the Dartmoor Lodge restaurant for dinner 400m walk just up the road which we would recommend. Great location near to lots of different beaches. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area.

We stayed here as a large family. Very friendly Angela welcomed us warmly into her pretty house. Great rooms with everything we needed, great breakfast and peacocks singing in the morning instead of an alarm clock. We loved everything about it.
