Julie and Nick have something special here and they are passionate about what they do. Communication prior to our visit was excellent and we were given detailed instructions on how to find them. (This was necessary as they are down a long narrow country lane). Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was first class. Although not large our unit was very well equipped, had everything we needed and we particularly welcomed the two sofa chairs. Situated in a rural setting there is little noise and we had great sleeps. We were given several suggestions on local attractions by Julie and Nick and Julie even offered to do our personal laundry so we could maximise our time sightseeing (we did not take up this very kind offer!). We were treated as honoured guests and felt very welcome indeed. Nearby Ludlow is so full of Tudor and even earlier history and Shrewsbury, about an hour away is even more so.

Very comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast each morning, pets with doggies, and beautiful country walks... couldn't fault this place!

I spoke with the staff at OAK INN, they were extremely accommodating. they called me twice whilst en route to understand eta. I actually made it a few minutes after 10 but everything worked smoothly, so appreciative of their understanding. Great breakfast, Room was beautiful, huge bed extremely welcoming.
