The prestigious Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building of great importance. It is situated in an elevated position above the town of St Helier with magnificent views over the town and its interesting harbour filled with a mixture of fishing boats and private yachts. Our stay was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and our hosts were a delightful couple. Thankyou Carlos & Silvani.

Overlooking Bouley Bay, this 4-star guesthouse with an outdoor swimming pool occupies an countryside setting in Trinity. Originally built 200 years ago, the guesthouse maintains some original features. A very peaceful and quiet location. The junior suite that we had was in excellent condition, well equipped and comfortable. There was a bus service that came past the hotel but it wasn’t very frequent so we would advise using a car. A continental breakfast pack was supplied for the first day but was sufficiently generous to last two days. An excellent M&S food shop is ten minutes drive away in St Johns, along with a restaurant/pub. The local village has another pub and small village shop.

The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.

Some of the hotel’s rooms have a private patio and sea view. Rooms were more silent than other hotels we visited, staff was friendly, smiling and helpful. It was great food throughout the day, and they pour an incredible pint of Guinness.
