The Avenue is perfectly located 3 mins walk from the delightful town centre of Bakewell with a good selection of bars and restaurants and local bus services very close by.The property was spotlessly clean and very warm and welcoming and very quiet at nights despite being situated on the A6.Sarah the proprietor was an excellent and helpful host and provided a lovely breakfast of delicious locally sourced ingredients and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again !.

After staying in a variety of accomodations travelling the UK, this was an absolutely beautiful stay. The bedrooms were so lovely with every detail thought of, with beautiful bed linen. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. And an absolutely fabulous breakfast served in a delightful dining room. And off street parking much appreciated.

He described places near the property that we might enjoy. The shower was clean and the temp and pressure were great. The bed was quite comfortable and the blanket was very warm. The WiFi was strong and there were ample outlets to charge our phones and other devices. Breakfast was fresh and outstanding! We couldn’t ask for much more.

The Victorian house is lovingly and beautifully restored. It is spotlessly clean and exceedingly comfortable. Michael is a wonderful host, attentive and helpful, who goes the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. His B&B embodies hospitality.

They have a lovely cottage which was a delight to stay in. A great location to access the Peak District. Room was warm and comfortable.

The place was very clean with a nice garden view and close to Alton Towers. the food was very good. I highly recommend this place.

Host was very friendly and welcoming on my arrival. The property and room were spotlessly clean and room was spacious, light and airy. There was a decent size bathroom with shower in the room I had Close by and within walking distance to local shops and tram/bus services. I had an amazing breakfast; plenty to choose from to eat and drink, as well as a cooked English breakfast. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.
