In each room there is a flat-screen TV and also an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with a bath and a hairdryer. Guests can enjoy garden view from the room. Extras include bed linen and ironing facilities. An absolutely brilliant hotel to stay in. Starting from the arrival, to the visit in the restaurant and the visit to the bar, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was simply superb. Beds were comfortable and it was ideal for us as we were touring by motorbike. Safe free parking was also a big bonus for us.

Just 10 minutes' travel by bus from York Railway Station, Ascot House is a 15-minute walk from York Minster. It offers award-winning breakfasts, elegant bedrooms, free WiFi, and free parking.

There is a bus stop outside of Ascot House, which has regular services to the city centre. York boasts many historical sites including Cliffords Tower, York Minster and the Medieval Walls. The house is amazing, the lady who welcomed us was friendly, helpful and kind. We stayed with our pets and we all had a great stay. The breakfast was in a lovely Victorian dining room. The B&B is 15 minutes walking distance from the center of the city and it has services around. we highly recommend this property and if we come back to York, for sure it will be our choice.

Situated just 300 metres from York Minster, Minster Walk Guest House is a charming 300-year old coaching inn with free WiFi.

Whilst enjoying a quiet position, the privately owned property looks onto the city walls and is just 5 minutes' stroll from the Shambles. York Railway Station can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Finally, a typical hotel! The room was very light, spacious, immaculately clean and quiet. There was not only a kettle in the room, but a whole range of teas, snacks and hot chocolate. The view from the window was lovely and the bathroom with bath was exceptional! Breakfast is served in picnic baskets and can be pre-ordered, again typical products and finally not the usual fake hotel breakfast. There is always a corner with hot drinks and snacks. In short, impossible not to feel good!
