Rani and Oussama offer solutions for most of your travelling problems: transportation to Maison Manendra from Malang, Bromo Tour without other people around you, tour to Tumpak Sewu with a fantastic guide, taxi to Surabaya... and many more. Rani and Oussama travel a lot in and out of Indonesia and are well aware of what you need during your Java trip. If you are looking for luxury, it is not the place for you. What made this place truly special for us is the welcome and service Marc and Ericka (owners) gave us : they not only organized a Mt Ijen excursion for us but a fantastic massage by Aini. In the restaurant, son Ricco is a talented cook and the food was excellen... Best breakfast pancakes on and out of Bali!

Batok just as we wanted, avoiding the crowds and groups. Davi was wonderful—he gave us the best tips to explore the area, and we enjoyed unforgettable hikes with stunning sunset and sunrise views. The room was comfortable, with a hot shower—everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a more authentic experience. For meals, we had lunch and dinner on a beautiful terrace just a few minutes’ walk from the homestay.
