First: in the evening, go to Rico Rico. Even if it’s your first time, you’ll feel like you’ve known everyone forever. You can eat, have a beer and spend the night singing together with locals and travelers – a truly special experience! Second: we warmly recommend Aji as a driver and guide. We arranged our transfer from Riung to Bajawa with him even before arriving in Indonesia, through Nuna Bungalow. We had such a great time that we canceled our other transfers and traveled with him all the way to Labuan Bajo, making several wonderful stops. Aji is not only a careful and safe driver, but also a fantastic guide who will make sure you don’t miss any of Flores’ beauty, sharing stories and details about this amazing island. We even spent time together laughing and sharing Arak! If you need a driver or guide in Flores, ask the Nuna Bungalow staff about Aji! You won’t regret it.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit has a private bathroom. Such a nice homestay! We really enjoyed our stay and the family is super friendly and helpful. We also went on the Island trip with them which was also very nice. The BBQ lunch at the beach that they prepared was very good and the wife cooks very yummy. Banana pancakes for breakfast are also very good. The room was very clean and spacious.

We stayed for two nights and rented a scooter to go to Kelimutu from there, which was a good decision, as the ride is absolutely picturesque. The staff is so sweet and helps you with everything: renting a scooter, organizing breakfast for takeaway (it is delicious!), and taxi/other transport. The architecture gives great vibes that makes you want to stay and not leave again. Another big plus: The shower was easily one of the best we have had on Flores with high water pressure and hot temperature. We could have easily spent another two nights in Ende!

Mita the staff was so friendly and cheerful, making me feeling at home as soon as I arrived. I slept really well and too bad I only stayed here one night. If I ever come to Ruteng, I will def stay in this homestay.

We loved the spacious and clean room. It's location is in walking distance to restaurants and the jetty. Stayed for 2 nights on the second night we didn't feel like venturing out so they made us a delicious dinner. The Breakfast of Fruit and Pancakes Yummy as well.
