There were several options available and all were excellent.

Each accommodation at the 3-star bed and breakfast has quiet street views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a shared lounge. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.

All units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. The location, friendliness of owner, quietness of the location, and the breakfast were all exceptional and better than I had expected. The owner gave us good advice as to what to see and where to go, and even when departing and we told him where to we were heading, he recommended a restaurant to us which we visited and were super please with.

Some rooms also include a garden view. Mark and Linda have a beautiful home, which is a walking distance to the town area, Athlone Castle, and the lake nearby. The amenities were simple and well put together. The rooms are clean and immaculate. Huge parking space as well.
