The view is amazing, you can see the main church thru the balcony especially at night. We had a short stay but a memorable one.

This place is strategically located half way from the Matera central station on the downhill way to the city centre, in five minutes walking distance to both places, with everything you may need for your stay easily reachable on foot. It looks like the apartment in the residential building has been rebuilt to serve as an interesting concept of a mini hotel with a couple of comfortable, pleasant and quiet rooms, and the common space with the front desk and a small dining area, offering the free access to coffee/tea machine around the clock. The staff provided the luggage storage and texted us as soon as the room was ready, which we appreciated very much. If we find the time to visit Matera again, we'll definitely book this place again.

The place is renovated and decorated with taste, the old stone and carved ceilings are fantastic. Nicola takes good care of you, including a complete explanation of how to tour properly the city. The location is perfect, few hundred meters and you’re strolling along the cobblestone streets. Will come back!
