We felt very welcome and had three incredible nights at their beautiful hotel. We would recommend their accomodation to everyone who wants to visit Iki island and we hope to revisit this beautiful hotel and its kindhearted hosts in the future.

She is super attentive and will try to help in any way she can. Breakfast (made by her) was different every day and it was delicious. She personally bakes the breads, makes her own jams with fruits grown outside her house and also uses locally obtained goods. Keep in mind there is a set of stairs leading to the rooms; if you have knee issues, she will help you bring your luggage upstairs. The rooms are brand new, spacious and super clean; the shower is strong and hot. The location is facing the river and 15 minutes away from the Gonoura port. If you travel to Ikinoshima, please give this place a try; you won't be disappointed!

The host was so thoughtful in the way he arranged the house and prepared useful items for our stay in the house. From a drying rack/laundry clips, to cooking utensils and various sauces and condiments, to additional bedding, we had everything we needed.

Kigi Moku Moku exceeded my expectations. During me and my family’s one-night stay we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived in Sasebo until the moment we left. The hospitality was an 11/10 and I can’t say enough good things about Yuzu-san and her beautiful home. It was so well-designed and peaceful, and we wished that we could have stayed longer! The breakfast was delicious as well.

The location is great and the close towns around are just a walk away. If you like walking, its your place. The serenity , quietness and peace all around are stunning. We could feel the love put into the house during its remodeling. Admiring the way to stay as close as possible to original materials and way of building it. The living room is great and wants you to stay overlooking the rice patties all day long.

Her home is uniquely attached to her family’s temple, which she lovingly cares for, and the atmosphere reflects her warm, gentle spirit. The decor is impeccable—calm, cozy, and soothing—so it feels like the house itself is Manami: thoughtful and kind. Every detail has been considered: a comfortable tatami bedroom with soft, plush mattress and linens, a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and even a little mini-spa corner to unwind. There are two toilets (a rare convenience in Japan) and the location is great for exploring. Manami helped us rent e-bikes and gave us wonderful day-trip plans and cultural insights we would never have discovered on our own. Staying here felt like touching the true spirit of old Japan while enjoying modern comforts. For us, it was a dream place. If you value kindness, authenticity, and quiet beauty, book Oteragoto—you’ll feel Manami’s heart in every corner. She truly deserves all the guests who will love this place as much as we did. 10/10. Το Yukinoura Guest House Moritaya βρίσκεται σε Saikai, σε απόσταση 38 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Πάρκο Ειρήνης και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο... I didn’t expect a house this big and equipped. I was welcomed so caring and friendly and got help with everything I needed plus many more opportunities and offers for day trips and food options. I could even use the sounds system with their vinyls and the piano they have (really good sound!). Also, I cooked for myself in the evening with food I got in a supermarket of the next city. For a daytrip I rented an e-bike and went to the local waterfall (i was alone there!!) and to the sound shower museum, which I can highly recommend. Owner and staff are incredibly friendly and warm hearted.
