The guesthouse has excellent transportation options, being close to the subway station within walking distance. Just one subway stop away, you can reach Shin-Osaka Station to take the Shinkansen, making it very convenient. Aunt Dong, the host, is very warm and hospitable. She meticulously cleans the rooms, and the bedding is exceptionally clean, with a fresh scent from being dried in the sun. We had many pleasant conversations with Aunt Dong, who, in her sixties, is embracing a new chapter in her life as a guest house host . We wish her good health and many new friends around the world. This is an excellent accommodation choice for an Osaka trip—clean, hygienic, and conveniently located. It’s easy to visit Osaka Castle and nearby cities, making for a pleasant and relaxing travel experience.

He even helped me get a cab after my stay when it was raining. This is an old style house and will give you a good experience. You will be on a mattress on the floor which is evident from pictures. I thought the house and old suburb was beautiful. It was my first night in Japan, and although it was a decent walk from the station, it was a fantastic place to stay.

The location is great — very close to the train, yet in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s also close to the airport, though the trip can take a little longer if you go by metro due to transfers. If you’re staying for a short time, this place is a perfect choice. During my stay, I was lucky to experience the Futon Daiko festival, which is celebrated only in the Sakai area. That made my trip even more meaningful!

The glowing reviews about the dinner were right too; absolutely delicious and unique. Just what we needed before setting off on our hike the next day. Would highly recommend to stay.
