My friend & I stayed here for two nights as, after a month traveling, we wanted some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. That is what we got too. We stayed in our own 2 person hut with a little balcony that had comfortable seats and a hammock, ideal for relaxing; almost read my entire book! We went kayaking one day, following the Green Cathedral trail. The kayaks were provided free of charge by the accommodation. They brought us fresh fruit and cold water every time we appeared in the common area which was equally as colorful. Their hospitality was wholesome, welcoming and extremely helpful, especially when we needed to organize transport to our next destination. I cannot fault this place. I would strongly recommend a stay.

Our room was an instant comfort—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with subtle details that made it feel more than just a place to sleep. But let’s talk about the light. I still don’t know how to describe it properly—there was no bulb, and yet, it was one of the most powerful and unique lights I’ve ever seen. Are they living in the future? The rooftop terrace is another highlight. Open and spacious, it offers 360-degree views of Kampot, perfect for both sunrise and sunset, with the mountains on one side and the town on the other. Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. There are subtle sustainability hints woven throughout the book and the hotel itself—little reminders that made me rethink my own habits. Beyond the hotel, I discovered the incredibly friendly community of Krong Kampot 💙. For anyone visiting Kampot, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. ✨👍😊

The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the food from the Restaurant was delicious! I highly recommend this business!

Situated within 1.1 km of Kampot Pagoda and 6.1 km of Kampot Train Station, The Hidden Oasis Bungalows features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kampot. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

Wished we had stayed longer than two nights as the region is beautiful and lots to explore as well in nearby Kep.

The room and its bathroom were clean and functional. The WiFi signal was okay. The host is a very nice man and he can arrange day tours and transport for your next destination. Overall, I was satisfied with this guesthouse, definitely recommended.
