This one we got to know after experiencing other accommodation where we were in Sri Lanka. For Appleton Villa it’s all about service and caring while others only the money. The best thing that happened there was the welcoming and outstanding hospitality from staff who made our stay enjoyable.They are very professional, understanding, welcoming and caring. The host and the men from maintenance (sorry I forget names easily) were extremely friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean. Easily walkable 5min to town, 10min to train station. I recommend a walk to the temple and behind are beautiful teefields without tourists.
