The staff were very friendly and many of them were always around. They helped us with our laundry, were flexible about serving food and met us with a welcome juice on a hot day. The safari was excellent, would recommend it to anyone staying there. Room was comfy and large and the front garden was really nice.

Amazing property. Wish we had booked for longer! Great pool with lots of sun loungers and beanbags. Owner is also a chef. We had a wonderful breakfast and wish we had more time to experience his cooking for lunch or dinner. Were also very helpful arranging Yala safari for us ☺️

The food was amazing and rooms were so spacious ....Owner and the staff were really supportive and attentive...Kids love the experience with the fascinating pool and we loved our stay at the Maritime Nest ...it was a wonderful experience ....we give 10/10 for cleanliness ,food and the cozy environment ...its a calm nature friendly environment which gave us a different experience from our busy lives...Thank you Mr Peiris and his Mom and the staff for a ecstatic experience ...Wish you all the very best... Το JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place βρίσκεται σε Tissamaharama, σε απόσταση 2,1 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Tissa Wewa και παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ποδήλατα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο... The entire family that run this place are about the nicest people you will ever meet. They did above and beyond to help me out, notably finding and then physically hailing mystery bus #10 direct to Elle which saved me 7 hours travel time. Facilities were clean, comfortable and relaxing even though, because I was too cheap to pay for air conditioning, a little hot in the early evenings. I suggest you choose more wisely. They have free bikes, which I was unable to take advantage of but others raved about and the on site food was very good. Bring guitar pics, music, and a few licks for their talented son.

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

This is the best property we have stayed in the Sri Lanka. Beautiful garden and luxuriously big rooms with balcony. Dumi, the manager helped us with everything and also booked our turtle hatching watching at night. It is very close to lagoon and Rekawa Beach. Quiet Location. Breakfast was so fancy and delicious. Loved the stay and would recommend this place 100%.

The property was very close to the Turtle sanctuary. Very convenient to watch the turtles lay their eggs at night and then in 5 min by foot to be back in your room. The property is nicely arranged and the owner offered his services to take us by car to our next destination stopping on the way to show us a few other places.

The rooms were very clean, they had ac and a fan and there was even a fridge in the room which was super convenient. They offer a huge and delicious breakfast which we ordered and it was completely worth it. The area was very quiet and peaceful and there is a beach for swimming just a few minutes away on foot. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he gave us some advice on which bus to take continuing our journey and on good places to eat. It was a really nice stay, I highly recommend it.
