We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!

Ездили на вечернюю прогулку на лодке, заказывали в отеле сафари на полный день. Все понравилось - на сафари видели и леопарда, проходящего прямо перед машиной, и медведя. Водитель-гид был отличный, но на сафари у машины отказали тормоза. Было немного экстремально потому как у водителей нет раций, а связь на территории не работает. Хоть напрямую это и не относится к отелю, но заказ сафари был через отель.

Amazing location, just 15min Drive to the entry of the national park and as we were coming in the evening, we had an elephant crossing just outside our hotel. Such a good start of the safari. we took 3 rooms so whole 3 floors were ours. The staff was super friendly; they helped carry our bags and show us rooms. prepared dinner in advance. Quick response to all of our questions. Next morning prepared take away boxes for breakfast and lunch for our safari day trip. We had an awesome weather. So more elephants, tons of birds, alligator I think, and..... leopard. The only reason we visited this safari was to see leopard and it was a perfect choice. Not alot of tourists and we've seen everything we wanted. On a way back, last 10 min started to rain and the hotel staff helped up with bags again and easy check out. They were always helpful and kind. I read some other reviews saying that the place is under construction - but its not relevant. Yes, they started the business maybe couple of years ago and they do develope slowly but they try and work very hard to make us tourists happy. We had a group of 5 people, parents are senior and we all loved it and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The family was very friendly. The welcome juice was delicious! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with a good mosquito net. The location was super calm and you can enjoy the sunset over the rice fields. It was very easy to arrange the half day safari with the hosts.

Really quiet and beautiful spot close to the national parks they do safaris and the food was delicious and cheap. The rooms are pretty big and comfortable! We highly recommend the place :)

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who will try to help you in every way You can see so many birds and animals from the place itself You can do a local bird walk or a half or full day safari in Wilpattu National Park The dinner is home cooked Sri Lankan style, very fresh and tasty and plenty of it! Loved every minute of my stay

He welcomed us despite we arrived earlier than check-in time, pick-up and drop off were wondefully planned, same for the organitazion of the safari, and breakfasts and dinners were everyday different and were delicous! We would recommend it

Great place to stay close to the entrance of the park. The host was amazing and cooked us a really delicious dinner! We walked in the afternoon to the lake side where we spotted some crocodiles!
