We ended up booking two more nights as we loved it so much. Would highly recommend staying for a few days and making use of the beautiful pool and gardens -a true oasis experience. This guest house is located in the old village of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a sand fortress 30 km from Ouarzazate. You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries.

All of the rooms at Kasbah El Hajja are decorated in traditional, Berber style. Each room features a private bathroom with a shower. The property solely relies on solar energy for lighting. Surreal location in the middle of the kasbah, with comfortable rooms, genuine feeling and a lovely terrace. Short walk to the highest point in the kasbah and the hill facing ait ben haddou (good for photos). Really good dinner. Worth staying here to explore the kasbah after the tourists on tours have left/before they arrive. Very friendly owner. Highy recommend!

Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf is located 5 km from the centre of Ouarzazate and has views on the Atlas Mountains and the lake. Its furnished patio overlooks the outdoor swimming pool.

Private parking is also available and free of charge. Excellent customer service. Rooms were tiny, but were upgraded to good sized ones. First Riad experience, doesn't look much from outside, but inside is a completely different story.

Breakfast and tea are served on the rooftop terrace, from where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset. If you wish you can book a guided tour through the oasis. We enjoyed our time at the Heritage House very much and even decided to prolongue our stay. Thank you Nadia for everything, it was a great pleasure to meet you. We were having discussion about Moroccan food and from this conversation he cooked us an egg and tomato tagine for breakfast on our last day. Exceptionally clean and relaxed place. I would 100% recommend this place and return if I ever came back to Ouarzazate.
