This place is an absolute gem. Its really kitted out for business people stopping in León. It's got a lovely communal area with a kitchen,fridge and water. Then there is a lounge area with dining table. The place is very quiet at night and very well served by Uber and Didi and very easy to find by taxi. The restaurant ' El Jardin de Bugambilias ' is an easy 1 to 2 minutes walk away and makes a great place for breakfast and lunch 6 days a week ( not Monday) . Upstairs we always stay in Room 1 and it's got good WiFi and a very comfortable King size bed. Totally recommended

Our stay at Casa Azul in Guanajuato was simply fantastic. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with a balcony, which was not only beautifully designed but also equipped with all the amenities: a private bathroom with WC, a small refrigerator that worked perfectly, and a huge, incredibly comfortable bed. Everything worked flawlessly and left nothing to be desired. Casa Azul also impressed us with its charming courtyard full of plants and a bubbling fountain – a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. There was a small shared kitchenette with hot and cold water, as well as coffee. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace, where we spent relaxed moments both in the morning and evening. The location of the accommodation is ideal – very central, allowing us to walk to all the important sights. The security system at the front door is exceptionally good, giving us an extra sense of safety. The Wi-Fi also worked perfectly, both in our room and in the common areas. The host was extremely kind and friendly. She took the time to explain everything in detail, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. We especially want to highlight her efforts towards sustainability: she paid attention to responsible water usage and, for example, provided us with a bucket to collect water while it heated up. We highly recommend Casa Azul. It was a wonderful experience, and we would have loved to stay longer! If you’re looking for a place in Guanajuato where you can feel completely at ease, this is the one!

We loved our stay here. You basically have a room in a colonial mansion with lovely art work and decor. We didn’t use all the facilities as we were out exploring much of the time, but a living room and dining room were available for our use. We did use the shared kitchen, which was like a commercial kitchen. Continental breakfast was included and coffee and tea and pastries were available throughout the day. The room was cleaned daily which was nice and laundry was available for an extra charge. Very quiet location. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the historic Center.

The view from the terrace is spectacular, Guanajuato is uniquely beautiful. Omar and Jacquie are so kind, warm, and welcoming., truly wonderful hosts. The room was spotlessly clean, very peaceful, relaxing and comfortable, and it’s such a treat to have a fridge. I found the walk down to the Centro Histórico very quick and charming, definitely harder coming back up in the heat but worth it to sit on the terrace and watch the magical sunset, and the city lights come on. I found GTO very easy to navigate as a solo traveller, I took the v comfortable ETN bus from GDL, got an Uber from the bus station for just over 100 pesos, and a taxi back for 100 pesos. I felt very safe walking around alone, and there are lots of great restaurants. I loved Omar’s breakfasts, especially the huaraches! I wish I’d stayed longer, I would definitely stay at Casa Rofo again if I ever come back to GTO!

We liked the rooftop bar and nice view of the city. The room is nice and bit small, but it was perfect for couple staying. Also, nice wood floor and on the walls... but there are no windows.. the good thing is that we have a fan in the room, so it was okay. We definitely come back in the future and stay here again.
