The garden / eating area is a little oasis within a (not so pretty) city. So you really feel like you are out of the city. Claudia is one of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met at a hostel - she has a wealth of knowledge about everything and a constant smile on her face and kindness to her heart. The breakfast is delicious and so cheap. Probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in a hostel. A good base to travel around the surrounding natural beauty spots - highly recommend renting a car. Which can be done through Claudia / the hostal.

We couldn't find the hotel, it wasn't marked, and there were some communication issues with the host. The phone number on Booking didn't work. When we actually got there, everything was ok and the host provided everything we asked for.

It was already my second stay in the hostel and I really love Xilitla and the hostel. Its super clean, wonderful rooftop terrace, supernice and friendly owners and staff. Great location, super close to the centre, but in a peaceful neighbourhood and everything else also can be reached by foot. If you want a relaxed holiday surrounded by nature, its your place to go.

Friendly and kind staff, immaculate and spacious room, nice big and clean bathroom. Beautifully maintained outdoor area and balcony with sweet touches of decoration. The whole place has a very wholesome and spacious yet cozy feel, and the owner is lovely.
