The owners are simply lovely people, full of initiative and energy. The house is more than just beautiful, every little detail has been thought of well. Out room was fantastic: spacious, cosy and full of original details. The breakfast was yummie and so was the free coffee and tea (with complimentary chocolates). The fruit trees in the extensive gardens of the property, which really makes you realise you are in the Betuwe-area. This place is a little gem, tucked away in the beautiful nature and water lands (uiterwaarden) of Eck en Wiel. We would love to come back some time!

Our room in the converted hay barn was so cosy, and very nicely decorated with a country cottage feel. Comfortable bed and large ensuite. The host was really friendly and helpful, even though we arrived slightly later than planned. The breakfast was brought to eat in our room. It was really fresh and tasty, the scrambled egg was delicious. There is access to a large garden, with horses and chickens. Parking was easy, on the road at the front of the house.

It had a great location with a short walk to a great restaurant, was spacious and clean, and they served us an amazing breakfast in the morning. Did I mention the comfortable beds! 😁
