The location made it a perfect base to go to the city by foot but still have a relaxing and quiet stay! Enough bars with a super chill athmosphere (not like the city center) and superb food venues ( breakfast/dining) around who serve very real food! The room was spacious, nice cosy bed ,good big bathroom with a luxurious shower. Absolutely a fantastic place to stay.

Very walkable to the city (about 25 minutes) but also very accessible to public transport if that’s your preference. Our room also had a little balcony which was lovely for afternoon/evening unwinds.

Dirk and Ellen went out of their way to help us get warm after a chilled 60 km bicycle ride. We never met Ellen, but Dirk was pleasant and communicative. His apartment was good-sized and had everything we needed to have a pleasant evening. We were given more than enough food for breakfast, and still enough to make sandwiches for lunch. The apartment was quiet, comfortable, and within a five-minute walk to town and the grocery store. We had a nice stay in the pretty town of Enkhuizen and look forward to coming back.

We loved everything about Boat and Boost Amsterdam. It was an ideal getaway spot for the two of us. Check-in was easy and Jan Paul, the delightful host, was there to greet us upon our arrival. We stayed in the smaller of the two houseboat apartments and it was perfectly cosy and comfortable with enough space for two. The apartment was spotless. Full marks as well for creative use of space and modern well thought out craftsmanship. While slightly off the beaten path relative to Amsterdam's city centre, its location made for very tranquil living away from the bustle of city centre, yet close enough to be within convenient reach of Amsterdam's main attractions. There are several restaurants as well as grocery stores a short walk away if needed. Public transit to downtown is quick, easy and right around the corner. A Highly recommended Amsterdam houseboat experience.

We were choosing accommodations to spend a few days in Amsterdam based on its location and saw the reviews for this place. My goodness, they weren't lying! The service was super personal, flexible, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was an absolute surprise every morning; it exceeded all our expectations. Honestly, we would have stayed there forever.
