From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was great, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The garden was lovely and added to the overall peaceful atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the hosts, Will and Maria — they were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, and I truly appreciated how Maria adapted it to be vegan-friendly, making it even more special. I also loved the hot tub, a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. All in all, this was a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would love to come back again!

This is the place that you fall in love with immediately, the facilities were terrific the owners , serge and Maria they make you feel like home , breakfast is perfect and the spa is just the cherry on top of this perfection , we enjoyed our night and highly recommend it

We have had a wonderful stay at the Murchison Lodge Such a nice warm Welkom Philip made us feel directly at home , this wooden house have a soft smelling of red cedar wood The bedroom the Tui, was very comfortable good bed and sheets nice shower and products to use my hair was very shiny after washing it Philip gave us lots of information for example where we can eat , he recommended the cow shed and it was very good. We have our meal with the other couple that stay also at Murchison lodge and have a great time and good food. When we came back Philip made us a fire and together we have a nice whisky as a nightcap on the comfortable couches. You can also use the kitchen to cook an evening meal and the grocery is nearby in the village. You can use everything in the house and order a list for what kind of breakfast you wanted and what time. The hospitality is high standard and the breakfast was really good with homemade things a fresh eggs from their one chicken’s. Nice little cat round the house and I liked the garden enjoy a coffee under the Lemontree. You can walk easily to the riverside and see the sun going under. It’s really a heavenly place to be special the taking care of Philip we felt comfortable and like home. So thank you very much Philip and Daphne. Ria and Kees from the Netherlands
