She was very involved with my safety and well-being. It's truly heartwarming this still exists in the world. This a nice homestay like experience although there are plenty of facilities for guests so it feels like a hotel also. There are both shared dorm type rooms as well as private rooms. The room was very clean and in good condition. If I need to be in Arequipa again, I know where I'm going.

Decorated with stylish wooden furnishing, rooms at Arequipa Casa are very bright. They feature fan, heating, minibars and private bathrooms. Very helpful staff, stunning hotel, you can see Misti volcano from the terrace while enjoying your breakfast. Loved the decorations and vintage furniture. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, and hot tea is available during whole day.

Very beautiful building and style. The room was great, the common areas and the breakfast area was beautiful. Breakfast was nice, with great fruit juices. Staff were kind and helpful.

The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them. The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else. It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us!

Johanna, the receptionist, is very friendly and always does her best to solve any issues and be supportive. We did experience a few issues, some of which have also been mentioned by other guests.
