It’s super close to the airport in a beautiful building. The rooms are cozy with AC and hot water, and there’s a little lobby bar. Just what I needed to relax and recharge!

It feels like a home away from home here. Very relaxing and peaceful. The garden is very clean, big and beautiful, the guest kitchen also big and tidy if you like to cook. The rooms are also kept tidy. I stayed in the cottage on top of the building, i had my own balcony and great views. It is also cool and has breeze. Very close to the airport, markets and Mactan Newtown. My favorite part of my stay is the host and owners Mama Evelyn and Judy, wonderful people that treat you like family. Abihon Hoferhaus is Mama Evelyn’s heart and soul she built from a small house to a beautiful sanctuary. They are always helpful, giving and accomodating. The other staff also very nice, keeping the place very clean. There is free water and instant coffee and there is a cafe that make delicious breakfast and iced/hot coffee. 10/10 for service, cleanliness and location. You can tell the host to pick up or drop off at airport for a small fee also.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The mattresses were really comfortable. First lodging on the Philippines where we had a shower curtain. Shampoo and soap was provided. The free shuttle to the airport was the cherry on the cake. Location is very convenient for a layover as it is close to the airport. A mall with shops, massages, small restaurants etc is just five minutes away. Small eateries are around the corner. Cebu city centre is a bit further away. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it.

The mattresses were the best we had in all SE Asia, and the first time we had an actual King size bed. The kids also loved the bunk beds. For dinner, Kanto Street Ramen across the road was excellent. The breakfast food was good enough (not amazing). The transfer to the airport came promptly and got us to CEB in 5-6min.
