The location could not be better – easy parking right by the property, just a pleasant stroll into town, perfectly situated for exploring the entire island, and conveniently close to a large supermarket. We always felt completely safe here, which added so much peace of mind to our holiday. The cleanliness is simply impeccable – everything spotless and fresh, every day. The entire place is beautifully organized, with a layout that makes it feel both spacious and homely. The kitchen is especially well thought out: each room has its own assigned table, cupboard, and set of plates, utensils, and cooking items, which keeps things wonderfully neat and easy for everyone. And then there is Catarina – what a host! She is truly the heart of this place. Warm, sincere, and full of genuine care, she puts her soul into making her guests feel welcome and valued. She visits daily to tidy and refresh the common areas, replace the flowers, and, more often than not, surprise guests with delicious homemade or local treats. She is thoughtful, adaptable, and always ready to help – whether it’s offering great local tips or simply checking in via message to see if we needed anything. We felt so looked after and appreciated her kindness enormously. The property itself feels like a peaceful haven – quiet, comfortable, and infused with warmth and charm. Everything here has been designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, and you can feel the love and pride that goes into it. We travel often, but this stay will remain a highlight for us. If you’re looking for a spotless, perfectly located, safe, and beautifully run accommodation with a host who truly cares, look no further – this is the place! We would return in a heartbeat.

What a gem of a place. It’s relatively new, and offers something so special that I imagine it will be difficult to book as time goes by. They have paid attention to all the details here. Beautifully renovated, very comfortable rooms, very welcoming experience, with Christina being so attentive and providing home baked treats. The location right on the beach is amazing. Easy, reserved parking right outside the hotel is a bonus!

Really enjoyed the breakfast and the vibe of the property within the banana plantation. The rooms were comfortable and the hosts were excellent. Andreas arranged a transfer for us from the airport to the hotel.

We are first time visitors to the Azores and everything about Solar dos Cantos we was a delight. The building and grounds were beautiful. The staff were wonderful, warm, welcoming and delighted to answer questions, offer services and suggestions, invite us to enjoy the evening fire, recommend activities etc. we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our time at Solar Dos Cantos.

Το Seaside House διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους. We spent two nights at Seaside House. The place is well placed as the city center is accessible by a 10 minutes walk. Lui and Romina are very nice and helpful, and gave us a lot of tips for the visit of the city and the Island. The room & rest of the house were very clean, ordered and well equipped. Some free food and coffee/tea are provided in the kitchen for breakfast, so we didn't have to make our own shopping for it. It was for us a great and warm welcome for our first nights on the magic island! We definitely recommend Lui and Romina's place!

This guesthouse is amazing. Never saw such a well maintenanced guesthouse and so clean. Up on arriv Al you get a delicious pastel de nata and also fresh water. The staff is so friendly and helpful and also very good cooks.

Σε απόσταση 1,2 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Praia de Populo, το Senhora do Carmo Charm House προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και υπηρεσία θυρωρείου για την άνεσή σας.... The location was perfect : close to the city center and highways by car, quite central to visit the island, easy for parking on the street. The place itself is so charming!! It invites you to relax the minute you put your feet on the grounds. It’s been renovated with taste and yet had kept a certain aspect of its history. The staffs were all very nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you Rafaela, Victoria, Maria and Lina, we had a wonderful moment in the Azores! And what to say about the breakfast!! So delicious and diversified!
