Had a really thoughtful conversation with the owner about the history of the area, who was able to share perspectives of Slovenians who stayed in the region after WWII. (My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.

I have to highlight the staff of the hotel - very professional, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet place. Everything is well taken care of, the rooms are nice and perfectly cleaned. I can hardly say a negative thing about our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

I had a clean, large comfortable apartment with kitchen. Parking is included and is just outside the reception entrance so it could not be easier or more convenient. Grocery store is just across the street if needed. At check in I was offered optional breakfast (10 euro) which was a very good selection of breakfast items plus I was offered eggs/ omelette and coffee.
