Excellent for the price. I had a room with a fan and a shared bathroom/shower. The facilities were very clean, the room was tidy and had all the basic stuff you need. The area is safe and beautiful, there's a 7/11 right there and also a couple of local restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful.

From the room with AC, fresh drinking water, beautiful greenery on the courtyard to hospitable owner. In the kitchen you can have some eggs, toast and jam + tea and coffee, which is a nice touch. Also, you can use the washing machine, just paying 10 baht for the detergent. Guesthouse is located in a bit of distance from the center of action, but nice walkable distance. We enjoyed walking and discovering the city.

Wonderful little family guesthouse in a very quiet neighborhood, that I am always coming back to when in Bangkok. This time I was able to leave my luggage to go on a 10 day trip south with no extra charge. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. AC works great and it was great to have a small balcony. 20 min walking distance to Khao San Area and 8 min walk to Thewet Pier where you can catch the ferries to the main seight seeing areas. Lot’s of good street food around.

Great hostess, nice breakfast in the morning. Location is great, nice and quiet, about 3min walking to the main street. Available parking at the location.

I stayed at Wayside Guesthouse in Chiang Mai for 3 nights, and honestly, I wish I could’ve stayed much longer. This was my first time staying in a guesthouse, and Jackie and her mom made it such a special experience—I truly felt at home. They were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting me with booking amazing activities like a Thai cooking class, an elephant sanctuary visit, and a national park tour. The breakfast was delicious every morning, and the atmosphere of the guesthouse was so peaceful and welcoming. I left with a full heart and a heavy one too. Khob khun kha mak mak, Jackie!
