The food was absolutely delicious, made with care and local ingredients. Every meal felt like a treat. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and we left with full hearts (and full stomachs!). Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet, heartfelt getaway with wonderful hosts.

Absolutely beautiful house with the typical architecture of the "dar" style tunesian houses where all the rooms face the courtyard. The pool was built into the courtyard which is perfect. Ideal to relax and enjoy pool and listen to the birds. Very friendly personnel and great breakfast.

Toutou was very helpful with providing me with easy to understand directions to the hotel location. Thanks to his knowledge of Sousse and the surrounding places to visit, I decided to visit Jem the next day. I highly recommend staying at Dar Hakeim as it is a very quiet and a comfortable location, and it's a great place to come back to relax after a day of traveling around and seeing the sites. A great overall experience to say the least!

Especially the breakfasts. We may not have known French, that's why we couldn't express our feelings but she prepared breakfasts for us just like our mother, and we are grateful for that 🥰

They helped us with our bags, very responsive prior to checkin and during our stay. They even went above and beyond for small requests and booking of car transfers. And always with friendly faces and positive attitudes. It made us feel very welcome. The location of this was also not very far from the main street even though it's in the Medina so you don't have to drag your suitcases for too long (maybe a couple of minutes up a set of stairs and down an alley).
