Location was great since it was about 100 meters from dozens of stores, and then 100 more meters to a huge market, very safe area, even at night. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The boat to Mabamba swamp started from the private shore in the garden. The guides and tours arranged by the hotel were very good in the both of swamp and , hill climbing and village walk. There were no restaurants near there so decided to eat dinner all days, the menu and presentation as well as the taste were very nice. People are all comfortable and helpful, but a pair of hornbills are often coming to fight with them in the windows, even in the early morning, but this is also a part of the nature.

I arrived at around 4am and had to keep changing my arrival time and Salango made sure to give me and my driver a warm welcome even at that hour and even accommodated my last minute plans at that hour to accommodate my driver as well. Salango and all the staff were so hospitable and lovely throughout. The room that I got (second floor with balcony and view of the lake) felt so lovely and homely, it felt like I was coming home to my grandparents’ home in country Europe after a longgggg week of work out and about in Uganda. Would recommend to anyone looking for a super zen and peaceful abode in Entebbe 💕 will come and stay again for sure if I’m ever in Entebbe again!
