I was initially overwhelmed about being alone in NYC, but staying here truly made the experience better. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Penn Station and the Metro, in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. The room was small (as expected in NYC), but thoughtfully equipped with everything needed: a comfortable bed and pillow, air conditioning, wardrobe, sink, hairdryer, and even a steamer! The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. It was also great to have breakfast - simple options like fruit, granola, cereal, bagels, bread, and cream cheese, but in a city as expensive as New York, it saved both time and money. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well-maintained, with facilities on each floor. During my 4-day stay, I only had to wait once and I just went one floor above, so that was also great. I feel very lucky to have booked this place, it made my solo trip feel safe and comfortable. Truly grateful!

Hosts are very very friendly. I got the chance to meet Miad’s dad who drove me to and from the airpot, took me to a shopping mall and suggested a nice spot to get some food. He was the highlight of my stay, very genuine, helpful, kind and hospitable. I initially booked the place because I read from reviews that they offered to pick and drop their guests from and to the airpot, to my surprise it was for a much lower price compared to the normal standard around the area. The apartment is at the basement, close to the airpot and expected that you’d hear some planes fly through. It’s exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. I was there for a single night due to a long layover. It’s perfect for both long and short stays. It’s now my go-to place if I ever fly via JFK with a long layover. Thank you Miad and more thanks to your Dad for being so friendly and hospitable.

This is a great boutique guest house in a beautiful and historic neighborhood in Harlem that is full of culture, art and restaurants. Getting around the city from here is easy due to quick access to express 2+3 trains. The host is interesting, generous and kind. The room was huge, had everything necessary (and more), and was beautifully decorated. The property is truly unique and a labor of love - this is exactly the type of small business I want to support when traveling.

Right next to clubs and great delis, you have 6 min walking access to the subway trains which was very convenient for travel. The price is unmatched comps to location. The best of the best I can’t wait to come back
