Our room was heavenly, bed huge and comfortable, bathroom luxurious and the Martha's Vineyard light! The house was built for a whaling Captain who had wonderful taste. Old-fashioned charm with no kitsch at all. Perfect. Can't wait to go back.

It was a dream to visit Martha's Vineyard and our accommodation was booked well in advance. We were attracted by the pool and the reviews of the delicious breakfasts, which were absolutely delicious and varied each day. Although we didn't have a car we enjoyed the walk through the suburb of Vineyard Haven to our gorgeous cocoon at Charles and Charles. The New England houses and gardens were a joy to behold. After a day of sightseeing, we enjoyed a dip in the pool to rejuvenate. We maximised the local buses to cover most of the island and found the drivers friendly. All the advice we received from Charles and Charles was really appreciated. Thank you for a memorable stay.
