The gardens are lovely. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional. The host makes you feel like you’re home.

Everything, from the room to the breakfast and service. Loved every bit of our stay. I can't think of a neater and clean place in Nelspruit. The mountain view was a bonus. The place is also well secured.

South Safari Lodge was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed on holiday. We felt so welcomed, comfortable and at home. The lodge was clean and beautiful, the food was delicious and everyone working there was beyond kind. Even more exceptional were the animals walking right through the property, the ease of booking a safari tour through the lodge, and proximity to Kruger.

A guesthouse in terms of good care and attention from the staff, a top class hotel in terms of whatever you get. Big, comfortable and beautiful rooms, with an excellent breakfast. Paul the manager was very friendly and helpful, he even helped with transportation around town and to the airport (for a fixed small price). Would definitely return if I'm ever again in Nelspruit!

We were very happy with our stay at Grace of Africa. The property is beautiful, and Amos was extremely helpful and friendly. Various animals wandered across the estate’s courtyard, which made the experience even more special. Given the winter season, the heated bed was a most welcome touch. It was very clean and the food was delicious.

Best stay during our 15 days trip. It was magnificent, the rondavel (bungalow), the equipment, the gardens (fantastic and magical gardens with a wonderful swimmingpool). It was like staying in Eden. Congratulations for having such a beautiful and wonderful place to offer.

We had the pleasure of spending several nights at Thulamela Couples Retreat before heading off to the Kruger National Park, and we could not have chosen a better place to begin our journey. First of all, our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful host Penny. With her warm and caring nature, she made us feel truly at home from the very first moment. She not only provided us with a beautiful retreat to relax in but also shared many valuable tips for our time in Hazyview and in Kruger. Thanks to her, we were able to experience the area in the best possible way. At Thulamela we enjoyed a very private and peaceful atmosphere, nestled in a small forest – the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. Our cottage felt like our own little haven in nature, complete with a terrace, private hot tub, and a braai (barbecue) area. Everything was designed and maintained with so much love and attention to detail, which made our stay even more special. From the retreat, we explored the highlights of the Panorama Route, guided by Penny’s excellent recommendations. Her advice ensured that we not only saw the must-visit spots but also enjoyed great food at the right places along the way. Our time at Thulamela was so wonderful that after our Kruger adventure, we changed our travel plans just so we could return for one last night before heading back to the airport. We are deeply grateful for the hospitality and unforgettable memories. Thulamela is truly a gem, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, and romantic escape.
