I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.

Albino is an incredibly nice guy and great host. He organized and did so much for me. to emphasize is the good location on the beach (3 minutes walk) and the great breakfast. I would highly recommend the accommodation.

Perfect studio fully equipped, spacious, clean and beautiful. I cooked and slept very well. The host and the cleaning lady were very nice and welcoming. It's in a calm street near restaurants and markets. One of my best room in Cap Vert!

Tortuga is a very special spot just outside the city of Sao Felipe. The rooms are basic and ok. John, the new owner is a very friendly and helpfull person always ready to answer your question. He helped us to find a airplane ticket and assisted us to the airport.

EcoFunco is situated in Portela. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe.

EcoFunco is absolutely amazing! Lea and Joao are wonderful hosts, present from even before setting foot on the island. They helped us with transportation from and to the airport, they found us a guide to hike the volcano (Joao also is a guide) and gave us tips on things to do and trails to walk while on the island. The breakfast is excellent, abundant and varied. And they arrange it for you no matter what time you want it. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. The whole place is peaceful and quiet and the views are simply breathtaking. If we ever go back to Fogo, we will definitely stay with Lea and Joao again!!

An attractive room, looking out on the crater: lounges to relax on outside. Also enjoyed the meals we had here. But the best part of our stay was having Rose guide us to the lava cave. He explained so much and was very patient with our frequent stops at one stage. He also ensured that we caught early morning transport for a flight from San Filipe..
