Abu Guest House is the perfect place to stay in Aswan. Located on beautiful Elephantine Island, which is rich in ancient history and amazing to explore. The rooms are large and very clean, with all the amenities you need for a perfect stay. You will feel at peace on the rooftop, surrounded by mango trees and a view of the Nile, while you enjoy a meal from Abu. The food is incredible, with great quality and generous servings. Elephantine Island is relaxed and friendly, with many great restaurants and cafes to enjoy. A big thank you to Abu who made my stay incredible. Abu organised trips for me to Abu Simbel and Philae temple, and a boat ride to Kitchener’s Island and the Nubian village, at exceptional prices. Abu was always on hand to answer any questions I had. I will definitely be staying here again in future, and recommend it to anyone visiting Aswan.

Everything was absolutely perfect! You really need to visit and meet Ahmed and his wonderful family. First off, the food is amazing, and the prices are very fair. Everything was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend. It is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed. Room was very nice and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Esraa is amazing and very helpful. She arranged for me excursion to Abu Simbel and transfer to Luxor via Kom Ombo and Edfu. When I will back to Aswan, I will stay there again.

    The hotel was beautiful and modern, located on the quiet Elephante island. It has very clean, light, cool rooms. A great terrace where excellent breakfast is served, as well as lunch or diner if you want. Very hospitable staff, truly wonderful people. They also offer good service with excursions to Abu Simbel, or felucca tours. There are very good restaurants very closeby (King Jamaica, Bob Marley. The food there is worth waiting for 35-60 minutes). This hotel is also a great introduction to the Nubian village.

    The room is very clean and the space in front of the house is big so that we can easily park our car. We had dinner and breakfast at the nearby Nubian Holiday House, which is also Habibi’s. It’s a very lovely place with Nile view, and we played pool and darts for a bit while waiting for our meal. It’s a really surprise for us in this village. Habibi is very nice and warm, checking on us in the evening and morning and make sure everything is fine with us. We enjoyed the stay very much!
