Was so captivated by the islands, I missed my check-in time the first day but they held my room. Do contact them if you plan to be like me in advance! 😁 I loved that I had a better spacious room than what I had booked. Had everything that I needed. Scenic ride to the beautiful village where this guesthouse is situated.

Owners are so welcoming! You can feel how they love their place and want you to love it too. It is a perfect and comfortable stay for two people, with all the necessities in the kitchen and laundry. Location is really good, don’t worry that it is a bit off the main attractions. It is not a big deal, but the road to the village is worth a turn. The owner said about their plans for further development — can’t wait to come back and see!

The apartment was a comfortable base for exploring Faroe Islands. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen spacious and well equipped. It was a safe haven we returned to with pleasure after a day of hiking. Gudny was always available to answer all our questions and his brother even replied from a fishing boat in the North Sea :) All in all, it was a very good experience. Thank you!

I spent two amazing days, I felt like at home! Lilja is a super host, with a lot of information to share about the Faroe Islands and super welcoming! The room was small but very cozy, super clean and with all that you could need! Breakfast was delicious, with local products and something different every morning. The style of the hotel and the room is really cozy. The room was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. It's what you need to start a day of hiking. Also there is a cliff in the village there where you can see the puffins from really close. We had a wonderful time!

Fantastic location in Gjogv village, 20 m far from the mini-fjord. Typical wooden house with all comforts. Quiet position, free parking. Spacious bedroom and dining room.

Excellent accommodation for a few days holiday in Gjógv, a beautiful village on the island of Eysturoy in the Faroe Islands. House in a spectacular location. The house is new and equipped with everything you need, including washing machine and dishwasher. Beautiful views from the rooms.

The place is fantastic, one of the most beautiful villages in the Faroe islands. The whole property is located in different houses in the village, not only the main guesthouse that is shown in the photos and where breakfast and dinner are served. No problem with that, since my room was very well located too, was clean and had a "modern touch". I used these two days as a base to explore Eysturoy and the North Islands (which are the best in my opinion).

Our room was lovely and had a beautiful view. The restaurant had a lovely view, too, and I was glad that they were still serving guests despite a national food shortage due to the strike. The village was all walkable, and we saw many species of birds, including puffins and eiderducks.
