The location was an easy walk to the castle's and village. It was a lovely little place, and very different to stay in a cave. I loved the history of this town Leonardo de Vinci last home, he died there, and there were many kings and queens. A very interesting and gorgeous place to go. The location was perfect access to the train station and Amboise. Easy 10 min. walk to the city center over the bridge. Nice welcome from Mary when we arrived. The bedroom and bath were beautifully updated. The shared kitchen worked well for us with coffee, tea, and a refrigerator. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant at the end of the street with an incredible view of the Chateau d'Amboise which is lit up at night. We would definitely stay here again.
