We thoroughly enjoyed our night spent at Daphrose. The evening meal prepared by the host Brigitte for us was superb. Everything made from local produce and ingredients. It was delicious. Brigitte is a lovely lady and we wish her well.

Such an unexpected and lovely experience staying here with Didier... what a gentleman, very kind, helpful and accommodating. His home is absolutely immaculate but you are still made to feel very welcome. Be prepared, to take your shoes off at the door - pour moi, pas problem! I do this at home. I have been woken by cockerels crowing before, but never by donkeys braying :), really lovely.... and as a biker touring the area, there was a home for my bike in the garage - not that I would have felt uncomfortable leaving it outside, everything there is super safe and calm. Breakfast was almost to order, I'm savoury, not sweet so that is what Didier gave me. I cannot recommend highly enough. As a solo traveller I was made to feel safe and welcomed. Super experience for a UK adventure traveller...

Great location, region. Extremely friendly hosts, the house is amazing, the room clean and comfortable, breakfast and dinner were delicious. Definitely recommend arriving by car (parking is on site). We stayed just one night there, it was not enough. We will return one day and stay longer.

The host is so so nice, went properly above and beyond. I'd had a mechanical issue with my bicycle about 10km away from the hostel. I rang to say I might be late for check-in but was offered a lift, taken to the supermarket that was about to close and then taken to the bike shop in the morning to get my bike fixed. I can't express how truly thankful I am for it. It's a little outside the town but such a relaxing location. I'd had a bit of a nightmare day but it all faded away when I was there. The breakfast in the morning was also great.

Great place to stay for one night or for longer stays. Carole et André are nice amd always ready to help. The accommodation was really clean and quite, note that for the peivate toilet you need to cross a commun corridor, but that didn't bothered us. The room is part of their house. The breakfast was great, with pastries, homemade cake, fruits, homemade jams, tea, coffe and freshly squeezed orange juice. I really recommend! Thank you again! Audrey, Riccardo et le petit Leandro.

Absolutely loved our stay at L'olivier sur la place! The studio room was the cute French countryside cottage we were hoping for. It has a small kitchenette with gas stove, sink, large fridge/ freezer (stocked with cold water and ice) and ample cookware/ crockery. It has a lovely lavender perfume which is very fitting. The toilet is also separate from the other bathroom amenities which is always appreciated. The included breakfast consisted of fresh bread, honey, jam, orange cake, yoghurt, fruit, tea/ coffee and juice. It was delicious and happily enjoyed in the lovely courtyard garden each morning. It is located in the very small village of La Rochegiron which is surrounded by lavender fields (most of these are harvested end of July). You will need a car to enable access and allow you to explore more of what Provence has to offer. The best part of our stay was definitely our hosts, Patrick and Muriel! It was like staying with family. They went over and above to make us feel welcome and at home, even giving us a ride home from town and taking us to some local lavender fields still in bloom when we though we had just missed out. They don't speak much English and we speak next to no French but this was nothing google translate could not overcome. Could not recommend staying at L'olivier sur la place enough!!

A really great experience! The caravan is set up next to the owners house but has ample privacy. The owner is very welcoming and happy to answer questions. The caravan itself is very well equipped and sparkling clean. There are cute little things like small bags near the head of the bed for mobile phones. It's clear the owners have put a lot of effort into making this place as it is. It just has good vibes about it and I had one of the best sleep in weeks there. Highly recommended!
