The location was really quiet and peaceful, although just around the corner from central Ubud. It was a hidden gem! Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were amazing. Really some of the nicest people we’ve come across during our time in Bali. They went above and beyond!

This was the best value for money in the whole Indonesia. I was there with my friend and we really enjoy staying there it - such a wonderful time! We liked/loved: - breakfast, especially banana pancakes are so yummy - they are adaptable with breakfast time; one day we went on sunrise hike on volcano and without a problem they wait for us and made it when we came - towels for swimming pool - amazing swimming with a gorgeous view on the trees - very quiet place - food is good, few times we ordered lunch and dinner and it was yummy - they have free shuttle bus from the hotel and back from the city (4 x per day) - location is awesome, just enough away from the chaotic center and traffic noises - if you need to go to the center, just grab their transfer or call a grab (16 K for bike and 55 for a taxi), if you go on a group tour, they pick you pick, also the private drivers - staff is wonderful, every single one of it - room was awesome, if you travel with a partner, take the villa with a private room - their prices for private drivers are good, so you can book it there - if you ask for something, they provide you immediately(soap, towels etc.)

This is a fantastic accomodation to fully enjoy some time in (nearby) Ubud. The estate is brand new and very well designed, including the surroundings. The room is super comfortable and clean. The view on the rice field from the pool terrace astonishing. On top of that, the staff is genuinely super kind and helpfull to accomodate our needs. We arrived by scooter and we could easily explore Ubud (about 10 minutes drive) and the countryside nice landscape and warungs. The villa is also not far from Tirta Empul, with easy access to the main road to Kintamani (about 35 minutes far). Definitely recommended! ps we originally booked for 2 days, but when we arrived and saw the villa we added immediately 2 more days to our stay..

We stayed in Griya Tropical for 16 nights and couldv’e not asked for a better place. Kindest staff, always so welcoming and helpful. Super quiet location and even the narrow street going up to the Villa wasn’t a problem with a scooter, just a few minute walk from the bigger street anyways. The whole place was always kept clean, which made it nice to spend a few days by the refreshing pool. Also they have a kitchen area, perfect for making yourself a nice breakfast.

We loved our stay at Arumasta. It was welcoming, super clean, lovely cool pool, the loveliest staff and such good value. Loved it was in a family compound and they had the most beautiful baby who was the sweetest 🌸 We had 4 rooms poolside and they had great aircon and ammenities. Great location, easy walks to the Palace and down to the Monkey Forest area. We will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends and family.

Everything about our stay was spot on. The property is stunning, with beautiful gardens that create a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was ok. The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and attentive, they offered to clean our room daily during our two-week stay and even volunteered to do our laundry when we asked for nearby laundry options. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit served every morning. The location is also ideal (just 15 minutes by scooter to the center of Ubud) yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel truly relaxing. A wonderful place that I’ll definitely recommend to others.

This property looks as good as the photos and exceeded our expectations with the attention to detail. Firstly, our host Eka was very responsive to our communications and queries. Highly professional and super friendly staff. The beautiful, indoor/outdoor living space was outstanding in design and provided complete privacy between other residents. Great size pool with views overlooking the natural jungle setting. Very spacious open plan room with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating area and full kitchen. Loved the full-size fridge which is rare in any rented apartment. The water filter was a bonus allowing us to refill our own bottles and save on plastic bottle waste. Loved the garden atrium next to the shower, sunlounges, comfortable bed and pillows, umbrellas provided for wet weather. Great cafe next door and Mini Mart across the road.
