I had a lovely stay at Druva homestay. Vasu and family were wonderful hosts, making my visit to Hampi a real highlight of my trip. I looked forward to dinners and breakfasts, and to hanging out with their young sons at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and they organised a driver for me, even when I provided a wildly wrong check-in estimate. The room was meticulously clean, there was hot water, fan and ac (which I didn't need to use being Feb) and although simple it all felt fresh and comfortable. I just went everywhere with one driver so didn't pay much attention to location, but it seemed an easy spot and I liked not being in a backpacker-y area. Within walking distance were some shops, minimarts, restaurants, and it didn't take long to get to all of the tourist sites. I felt very safe in the village but also in the room (single 30F travelling alone).

Wonderful homestay. We were pleased about everything, from the generous help from the owner, to the amazing food and the kindness of the rickshaw driver that the owner arranged for us. It was a smooth stay in every thinkable way, and we got to see all the beautiful places which Hampi has to offer. Perfect stay! Highly recommended! Mr. Ravi is such a nice and helpful guy, he could organize everything! The room was cosy and with good views of the temple, very central location in the middle of the old city, close to the ghats of the river, if you want to go to the temples or island for bouldering. Gorgeous rooftop terrace, delicious food and a nice family caring for you. Thank you so much! I will come back!
